Beginner's Hike-Pond and Edgecliff Trails in Dishman Hills

Join Kathy Kalich, founder of the Inland Northwest Hikers and mother of 2 hiking loving kids. This is an ideal hike for beginner hikers or families with children.  We will finish hiking before the temperature becomes too warm.  Much of the Pond Loop and Edgecliff trails are shaded.

Camp Caro (next to the parking lot) has a picnic area and bathrooms. It is located at the end of Sargent off Appleway in Spokane Valley. There are a network of trails in the Dishman Hills area, and some of them were new this spring.  There are two ponds located near our trail.  These trails are in the Dishman Hills Natural Area where we often see wildlife, so dogs on a leash are okay.  No Discover Pass is needed to park in this lot. 2.8 miles
