Kids in the Lab: Exploring Microscopy 

Get ready for an adventure into the microscopic world! Join us for a morning or afternoon of fun at our Microscopic Plant and Animal Lab Event, designed just for 4^th and 5^th grade kids. 

Learn about microscopes and cells, make your own slides, and observe the natural world up close. This two-hour workshop is a hands-on opportunity to look and Register now to secure your spot for this exciting journey!

Date: Wednesday, July 15th 

Place: Camp Caro Lodge, 698 S. Sargent Road, Spokane Valley, WA

Times: 1:00-3:00 pm

This event will be held at the Camp Caro Lodge. It is designed to provide kids a hands-on experience in learning how microscopes work, what can be seen in plant and animal cells with light microscopes, and how to make their own slides. They will view a variety of plant and animal parts on prepared slides, fresh pond water slides of their own making, and live specimens of larger size under a stereoscope.

There is a limit of 10 students for this event, so you must register to attend. Now, open to members and non-members for registration. Adults are not required to stay, but we would like to limit it to one adult per child.
